Terms of service

Summary terms for the launch phase.

1. The service

ScaffSignal, a trading name of Convert and Profit Ltd (company no. 12041271), provides digests of approved planning applications in the areas you subscribe to. Data comes from public planning registers via third-party aggregation and may be incomplete, late or wrong. We do not guarantee coverage, freshness or that any project will proceed. Always check the council's own record.

2. Using the leads

You must use leads lawfully. Door-knocking, letters and ringing business numbers are fine. You must not use leads to send unsolicited email or SMS to individuals, and you must stop contacting anyone who asks you to. You are responsible for your own compliance with UK GDPR and PECR. Do not resell or republish the digests.

3. Plans and documents

We link to council files. Plans and drawings are other people's copyright. Do not copy them without permission.

4. Subscription and payment

Founding rate £49/month, locked for 12 months, then £69/month; extra areas +£15/month. The first two weekly digests are free; cancel before the third and you pay nothing. Cancel anytime; no refunds for part-months already started You can cancel at any time from your next billing date; we do not offer partial-month refunds.. Payments are handled by Stripe.

5. Liability

Nothing excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. Otherwise our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the previous 3 months, and we are not liable for lost profits or lost jobs.
